Maxim Ferschtman

Maxim Ferschtman joined De Vreede Advocaten as an associate in 2009. He simultaneously serves as senior legal adviser for the Open Society Justice Initiative, an international NGO. He studied Domestic, International and East European law at Leiden University, where he went on to work as a lecturer for some time. He has since worked for the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights. For the past eight years, he has been a member of the Amsterdam Bar Association, as a practising lawyer in among others immigration, criminal and international human rights law.
