Azusa Miyashita-Hemmen

Azusa Miyashita-Hemmen has a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from Sophia University and she has recently completed her PhD in Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. In between her studies she worked in commercial and non-for-profit organizations in Japan and the Netherlands. Azusa leads the Japan Desk and works closely with the lawyers in assisting Japanese companies with their immigration issues. Azusa grew up in Japan and Peru and speaks fluently Spanish, Japanese, English and Dutch.
